Design
Dear Monsieur Houeix,
I am writing to acknowledge AAUP's receipt of your June 21 letter,
with enclosures, relating to your situation at the Savannah College
of Art and Design. (As you are probably aware, SCAD is on our
Association's list of censured administrations and has been on
that list for several years.)
Sincerely,
Robert Kreiser
Dear M. Houeix,
Thank you for responding so promptly.
As I indicated in my previous message, our Association has ongoing concerns at SCAD; these relate primarily to issues of academic freedom, tenure, and due process. Given the nature of our concerns, I do not think it likely that we will be in a position to pursue the issues you have raised. At the same time, I would imagine that one or more of the other organizations to which you sent the documents will be in a better position to address those issues. I would appreciate your continuing to keep us informed of further developments in this matter.
Bonne chance.
Robert Kreiser
